“After the Japanese earthquake, our tour there was cut short, so we spent some extra time in South Korea, we wanted to do something fun there so we sought out a local director with the help of our South Korean label, Happy Robot Records, and made this video in two days with an all-Korean crew. The fact that we didn’t speak each other’s language made the experience really amazing to me because it forced us to engage in a really healthy, mutually trusting creative relationship that then resulted in a video for ‘What I Want’ that we all really like.”
